About Drone Cleaning Singapore
Glass and facade specialists who added a drone — not a drone company that decided to try cleaning.
We came to this from the cleaning and restoration side, which is why we will tell you when a drone is the wrong tool for your building.
Who we are
Drone Cleaning Singapore is the drone-based exterior cleaning arm of Lion City Glass Maintenance & Services, operated by Starspire Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201734852K). The parent business does glass restoration, hard-water stain removal, facade cleaning and protective coatings across Singapore's commercial, MCST and marine sectors.
That background matters more than it might sound. A great deal of what looks like dirt on a building is not dirt — it is mineral etching, cement runoff, coating failure or degraded sealant, and no amount of washing will shift it. Because restoration is our core trade, we can tell the difference at survey stage. You get told what a clean will and will not achieve before you commit, rather than after.
How we work
- Survey before pricing. We do not quote from a photograph. Elevations get measured, substrate gets identified, and unreachable areas get flagged in the quote as separate scope.
- One fixed number. Permits, water, crew and cleaning in a single figure. Hybrid scope appears as a visible line, never as a variation order later.
- Deionised water, no chemicals. Standard on every job. Chemical cleaning is what puts coatings, sealant and panel warranties at risk.
- Honest about the limits. If rope access is the better answer for your building, we will say so. We would rather lose a job than deliver a clean that cannot work.
Compliance
All commercial drone operations in Singapore require CAAS authorisation — an Operator Permit for the business and an Activity Permit for each job, applied for at least a month ahead. Sites near Changi, Seletar or Paya Lebar require additional airspace assessment, and Jurong Island requires JTC clearance on top. We handle that process; it is included in what we quote.
Cleaning, not inspection. We clean building exteriors. Formal building inspection — BCA Periodic Facade Inspection, thermal surveys, structural condition reporting — is a separate regulated discipline handled by a separately regulated discipline. We do not provide it, and we will say so rather than take the work.
